My style words are composed, western and relaxed. I'm mostly confident in them although "western" is the one I mull over the most. Not because it's inaccurate but because it doesn't seem encompassing enough. It more of an umbrella for like 5 other things, lol. I guess that's okay as long as it helps me but I'm constantly wondering if there's something that would stick better...idk
Thanks for asking! I think "western" feels complex because it is really vague or broad. We tend to default to thinking of rodeos and cowboys. While I DO think of those aspects, I also think of: Indigenous southwestern, Victorian, and East Asian (Chinese and Japanese) art and style. All of these things are distinctive, but also a part of Western American style that I like to consider.
To your second question, I'd say american heritage (historic military and utility) is also a part of my style that arguably does relate to western, but not inherently. But I tend to throw it in there to stick to the three words
Maybe this is too broad as well, but you could try "heritage" instead of "western." Heritage could capture the American Western, historic military, and utility influences while also leaving room for Indigenous, Victorian, and East Asian inspirations.

What are the components of western that resonate with you? Is there something you want to include that doesn’t feel like it falls within western?

I have thought about going with "heritage" as well! I'll try that one on for a while
Ooohh love this one. I'm going to do the exercise this weekend.
