It’s that time again. The monthly Q&A is open!
Every month, I open up a thread like this for paid subscribers to ask me anything from “how do I style this random piece that’s been collecting dust?” to body & color type questions, to specific shopping requests. Ask away.
Whether you’re trying to fill a specific gap, figure out why an outfit feels off, or just want help seeing your wardrobe with fresh eyes, I’m here for you.
To submit a question, simply leave a comment below.
A few quick ground rules:
Post your question before Wednesday, August 13th at 8pm EST. After that, comments will close until the September Q&A opens.
If there’s a question you’d also love to see answered, give it a like!
I’ll aim for all questions to be answered by the end of the month, if not sooner.
Let’s solve your style dilemmas!
P.S. The comment section is open to paid subscribers only.
If you decide to upgrade (thank you!), you’ll unlock access to the comment section of these monthly Q&As, plus other great resources like:
→ The chance to be the next Monthly Muse (I’ll build a capsule wardrobe tailored to your color type, body type, and style words)
→ Full access to the 12 Competencies of Personal Style course
→ Downloads like the Style File Notion Template, and more on the way
A paid subscription works out to about $1.62/week if you choose the monthly plan.
Think of it as a tiny investment towards a wardrobe that actually works, and feels like you.
Do you have tips for balancing personal style with a very casual lifestyle or dress code? I want to feel creative but not overdressed.
I would love your help with adding some kind of classic loafer to my closet/capsule so that I can play a bit more with proportions and especially as I start to think about slightly elevating Fall outfits by swapping out a sneaker for a loafer. However, I have no idea where to start as there are so many different styles and I’ve actually never owned a loafer. I don’t want it to look too dressy/menswear like or black and chunky. I like the looks I see more when I am looking at Italian styles and have wondered if even brown or gray suede options make more sense with a true summer palette. Your previous shoe recommendations have worked out BEAUTIFULLY for me in terms of both style and comfort so I’d love to know if you have any recommendations.
